The FoxScan human body infrared thermometer is the first line of defense for early detection of elevated temperature and missing face masks. This system insures automated compliance with face mask wearing directives and identifying subjects with abnormally high temperatures. FoxScan is designed to be used in high foot traffic areas by displaying the persons measured temperature reading along with an image of the person without slowing their travel. This allows for simultaneous rapid scanning of multiple individuals without interruption. If a person with an abnormally high temperature is detected, an audible alarm is briefly sounded and the persons image is displayed with the measured reading shown in red. This allows the monitoring attendants to verify the abnormally high temperature with a hand-held infrared thermometer. Once the persons’ elevated temperature is verified, they may not be allowed to enter the premises. This process provides the socially mandated protection of others and assures the buildings’ occupants that the facility operators are proactively taking precautions to operate in a safe manner.
